Mocambique and Lake Malawi

Nope, no typo!  In America, we do write Mozambique, but in their country, they write Mocambique.  We drove straight through and stayed one night in Tete.  While there, we experienced a beautiful sunset and then also had the local kids come and sing for us.  And at night, we heard hippos splashing around in the river below us.

Lake Malawi looks like an ocean.  If someone had blindfolded me and dropped me off at Lake Malawi, I would swear it was the ocean.  It was beautiful the afternoon we arrived, but then overnight, the wind changed to a South wind and thus it was quite cloudy and blustery and more importantly, the water was very turbulent.  So, no great photos.  I did, however, get one of me laying in a hammock and another of some boats on the Lake at dawn the morning we left...

And another at dawn another morning...
