Serengeti, Days 2 and 3

It just got better and better in the Serengeti, amazing though that is to believe, hunh?

I was so sick with the flu during this safari in general, but given where I was, I just ignored my illness (as much as possible) and focused on the beautiful stuff.

This zebra had an itchy ass.  Or pinworm.  Who knows?  All I know is we died of laughter as this zebra just kept scratching his ass on this branch for goodness knows how long.

Leopard(s) again.  They had finished eating a kill up in the tree.  Can you spot them both?

Beautiful, pregnant cheetah.

Hot Air Balloon.  We lucked out - it rained the night before and that cleared up the skies.  Plus, the wind was working with us and sent us along in the right direction for seeing as much as possible animal-wise!

A real highlight for me on this trip - the jaws of death in the hippopotamus!

Baby giraffes - about 1 month old!
