Oh my goodness. Can you believe it? Last post from my 6 month around the world international travel! (I still have to get from DC to SF, so the adventure isn't 100% done!)
La Paz - it gets a bad rap. Everyone was talking about how they heard how dangerous it was, how scary the locals could be. Nothing could be farther from the truth! We all felt safe and more, the people were lovely. Ash and I walked around the city one afternoon and people kept trying to help us get to the right place! I am sad I didn't have more time to explore, because the city itself was quite interesting. In fact, the morning I left for the airport, I watched as they readied to set up mass numbers of booths for quite the Feliz Navidad celebration/bazaar! Sorry I missed it!
