We stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast near Dundee in the town of Broughty Ferry. Here I learned the hard way that most european phones use a large SIM card and that microSIM cards are hard to get. At least it only cost me £1.
The day started out blutery and cloudy and stayed that way for nearly the entire day. We started by heading northeast to check out the best of the Pictish stones out there in Aberlemno. The Pictish were the warrior tribes that inhabited Scotland 2000 years ago and they left these stones dotted along the countryside.
Meh. Next stop? Edradour, the smallest single malt distillery in Scotland! It was quite lovely and the single malt was sweeter than whiskey from the west coast - still my fave! - and something that I am glad I got to try.
Yom yom!
Tomorrow we hunt for the elusive Nessie... Stay tuned!
