India really was incredible. I really fell in love with the people, the colours, the scents, the culture. It was such a sensory overload most of the time - in a good way!!!
We started our trip from Varanasi but immediately headed out for a cruise on the Ganges River. I have such fond memories of the trip, singing songs (Bohemian Rhapsody will never be the same and Hallelujah by kd lang will forever place me back in the moment), and being silly with my boatmates.

This was a bridge and we floated underneath it. It was awesome - traffic at times came to a halt as the locals were fascinated by us - they stopped they tuk-tuk to wave and say hello!
My welcome garland
