Today I went on a half day city tour. It was nice! Most of it was unfortunately spent driving and having stuff pointed out from the van, but we did get out several times and visit a couple places.
The first place we stopped at was the Palacio de La Moneda. It is now the Governmental Palace, but it was originally the Mint for Chile. We lucked out and it was the day they were having the changing of the guards. It was a long affair, longer than most changes of the guard. But that was a good thing because the band played some very lovely music.
