Orcha Day One

We headed from Varanasi to Orcha by overnight train.  I have to say, the Indian sleeper A/C train coaches are by far the best train coaches that I have experienced (compared to Russian, Vietnamese, Chinese).  And, the toilets were clean!  For the entire night!  Inconceivable!  :D

Orcha, located in Madhya Pradesh, was truly a pleasant surprise.  It was a capital in the past and was established in 1501.  It's a small town but truly very lovely.

The first day, we relaxed then headed to a handmade paper factory where they employ locals, then to town for sunset by the river, followed by a visit to the Ram Raja Temple to see evening prayers.  No photos though!
