There was a fog rolling off the mountains when driving into Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. It reminded me of San Francisco and sure enough, it was nice and cloud covered and cool when we got to the coastal towns.
Valparaiso was the first and major port of Chile on the Pacific after making that turn from the Atlantic and into the Pacific. Vina del Mar is a major summer destination for Chileans.
Sadly, I wasn't too impressed. By either.
